Hi, I'm Janna.

Thank you for being here! I'm a photographer / visual storyteller based out of Syracuse, as well as the surrounding areas such as the Fingerlakes Region, Central NY and the Tristate area. I am so grateful and truly blessed to be taking hold of my dreams, constantly earning new opportunities to continue to grow to new heights while acquiring new valuable knowledge. As a photographer, artist, and overall human being, my primary objective is to empower the kings and queens I photograph, making sure they feel important, confident, and radiant! I am captivated by genuine emotions and find immense joy in capturing those moments that bring happiness to people's faces. Additionally, it is of great significance to me to shed light on social injustice, empowerment, and excellence within the black community, as these are crucial subjects that resonate deeply with me as a black woman. My personal experiences navigating this challenging, critical, and often unkind society have instilled in me a strong sense of duty to ensure that everyone feels beautiful, compensating for every instance where I may have not felt that way myself. Given the prevailing beauty standards imposed on both men and women today, it is vital that everyone feels comfortable and confident in their own skin.
